"The SDA HOUSING Podcast" is brought to you by the team at NDIS PROPERTY AUSTRALIA. Whether you are listening as an Investor, Provider, Builder, Developer or Participant, we cover a wide range of topics informative to any audience. We discuss how we work with all stakeholders in sourcing and delivering new dwellings which are SDA compliant, to general information about the NDIS, and statistics about Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) in the NDIS sector. We regularly have guest speakers each week from other organisations to talk about their involvement in the SDA sector, and how they contribute to the social impact of SDA, building homes that are fit-for-purpose, while giving NDIS participants the "Choice and Control" over how, where and with whom they live. As we are learning and adapting to an evolving world of SDA in the NDIS sector, we want you, our listeners, to come on the journey with us so that you too can contribute and make a social impact for People With Disabilities (PWDs). EPISODE 234 - SDA MASTERCLASS: Melbourne
In this episode, Minh and Debbie discuss their recent trip to Melbourne, where they hosted NDIS Property Australia's first ever SDA Masterclass.
They review the various meetings they held with investors, brokers, developers and other consultants (both in the masterclass and days prior to the event) and they discussed in detail why their first SDA Masterclass was held in Melbourne, and what the outcomes were. They talk about how the highly technical content and detailed presentations provided by the speakers differed from past events and workshops. This was definitely not a SDA 101 event, and thus our attendees definitely enjoyed the open discussions.
Listen on to find out more about the speakers, the content and what the attendees got out of the day, along with when our next Masterclasses being held. We firmly believe that the content provided in an intimate setting is much different from listening to a podcast, or watching an online webinar. Having attendees to interact with each other and the speakers all day (8 hours) allowed a more better informal engagement of likeminded individuals.
